In Dark Room Sex Game, the player works with his or her partner to find a mutual rhythm, then speeds up gradually until climax. In four-player “orgy” mode, players swap partners randomly and compete to reach orgasm the fastest.
I discovered Dark Room Sex Game at Indie Cade this past fall in Bellevue, Wa. It was a small event in a small venue, and there was this game… Its the kind of game that makes strangers a little uneasy about being so interested. There are no graphics at all, literally. Just very hypnotic noise and red faced players. The game’s tag line is “”Can I touch your Wiimote?”
The game was created by a group of students from IT University of Copenhagen. Dark Room Sex Game has its roots in the 2008 Nordic Game Jam. The game jam is an event hosted by IT University of Copenhagen in which innovative games are developed in a week end. The theme for the 2008 jam was “taboo”.
This game is simple, edgy, and just plain awesome.
